2010 EDK - EXTREME TEAM COMBAT Beginning Wednesday evenings, we will be holding Team Combat events for all interested students to have some fun and enhance your summer training with EDK. EXTREME TEAM COMBAT is FREE, and all Dragons, Tigers, and Tweens are invited.
EVENT DATES: July 28 SPARRING CHALLENGE This event will include sparring, pobo fighting, and sword fighting (foam of course) August 4 NINJA CHALLENGE This event will include sword, blowgun & throwing stars (both child safe) competitions. August 11 SPORTS CHALLENGE The events on this night will include team dodgeball and volleyball. August 18 BREAKING CHALLENGE Earn points for your team by completing a break in the category of your choice. August 25 TEAM DEMO CHALLENGE Teams will be judged on their performance, and awarded points on this final evening challenge. Team totals will be announced and Teams will be recognized on this night. NEW WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE July 28 – August 25 5:30pm – 6:00 pm ½ hour class for all Tigers and Tweens not taking part in the Summer Team Challenge. This class will be designated for curriculum review and progression. We encourage all students to take advantage of the Team Challenge opportunity.
6:00pm – 7:30 pm Dragons, Tigers, & Tweens will warm up and review curriculum for their ranks for the first ½ hour of class. Team practice, Event Rules, and Combat events scheduled for that evening will immediately follow. Points will be awarded to team members each night.
